1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CommonTime at https://commontime-3.cc ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, poll creators (organizers), and participants who interact with the Service in any way.
2. Description of the Service
CommonTime is a free, web-based group scheduling tool. It allows an organizer to create a poll with proposed time slots, share a link with participants, collect availability responses, and identify the best meeting time. No account or login is required for basic use.
CommonTime is a scheduling aid. It is not a calendar application, a communication platform, or a binding scheduling system. The Service does not send notifications or invitations on your behalf.
3. Permitted Use
You may use CommonTime to:
- Create scheduling polls for legitimate group coordination purposes
- Share poll links with intended participants
- Export scheduling data for personal or organizational use
You must not use CommonTime to:
- Create polls containing illegal content, hate speech, or material that harasses or harms individuals
- Spam or distribute unsolicited links to large numbers of people
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent any security or authentication measures
- Use automated scripts to create polls, submit availability responses, or otherwise interact with the Service at scale without our written permission
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity, when creating polls or submitting responses
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
4. Organizer Responsibility
No account is required to create a poll. However, the person who creates a poll (the organizer) is solely responsible for:
- The poll title and any other content added to the poll
- Obtaining any necessary consent from participants before collecting their availability
- Keeping the organizer edit code confidential if they wish to restrict editing access
- Ensuring poll content complies with these Terms
CommonTime is not responsible for content submitted by organizers or participants. We reserve the right to remove any poll that violates these Terms without notice.
5. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that scheduling suggestions produced by CommonTime are accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.
CommonTime is a convenience tool for group scheduling. It is not intended to be used as the sole basis for decisions in medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or similarly high-stakes contexts.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CommonTime and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, missed meetings, or scheduling errors.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Because CommonTime is currently free, this amount is zero.
7. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or if your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or to the integrity of the platform.
We also reserve the right to discontinue or modify the Service at any time without liability.
8. Intellectual Property
The CommonTime name, logo, application code, and user interface design are the property of CommonTime and its operators. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our written permission.
Poll content you create (titles, availability data) remains yours. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it to understand how we collect and use your data.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Delaware, USA, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with a change, you should stop using the Service.
